Thinking about Teresa Giudici made me really think about what is wrong with America. We used to only care about living a decent life. And now everyone is all obsessed with being rich and famous. I was listening to Rascall Flats earlier singing about Mayburry and sitting on the porch. I know I wrote about this kind of yesteryear in my book and many people think those days are over but I am telling you we need them back. Living with no debt and no fancy jewelry or furs is a lot more respectful than charging it all up, looking like a million bucks, but then not paying for it and going bankrupt. People should only claim bankruptcy if they are absolutely desperate and have no way to find a job. Live within your means. Pay your bills. Live a humble and decent life. This is what God wants of us. This is the right way to be.
