The news of Arnold and Maria splitting really annoyed me. After 25 years what is the point? I don’t understand. What about their history together. All those years. All those memories. Four children. Are they looking for new young love? Are they looking for excitement? I think it is just really sad. The celeb shows were playing a YouTube video Maria made asking people what their experience with transition was like. She is struggling with her transition in life. “She’s lost,” one celeb host noted. “Losing both parents over the past two years, her children almost out of the house, and not having a career direction last night, she is fragile and lost.” Okay really? If best selling author Maria Shriver, bff’s with Oprah Winfrey, wife to the mega millionaire terminator, and part of the most exciting family in America, is uninspired and depressed, what hope is there for the rest of us? Or maybe there is more hope for us. Maybe our expectations are a bit more realistic. Maybe when you have absolutely everything, there is just nothing left to excite you. Or maybe Maria is proof that money, and success, does not give you happiness. And at the end of the day, all women are the same, suffering through insane moments. I only hope for her that she realizes, before it is too late, that she already has it all and she should enjoy it.
I have to say I totally agree!! And I couldn’t have said it better myself, perhaps after some time apart they’ll realise what they have together.
Well theres usually more underneath the the surface… I don´t think someone takes that decision lightly after so many years together. I think that it´s usually not just looking for new love and excitement. In those years they must had a few crises in the relationship and still decided to go on so when someone decides to end it after so long I think it´s usually not just that we grown apart and want some new excitement; I would guess a huge betrayal but since I don´t know so much about them I really couldn’t say. I do think that people give up to fast and don´t fight for the marriage when the passion turns in to love and the everyday problem grows on you! The grass is usually greener on the other side only if you don´t water your own 🙂
